On December 14, 2021, IMA launched the “Kasumigaura SHIRAUO x AI” project with Namegata city, which is located along the coast of Kasumigaura in Ibaraki Prefecture, the second largest SHIRAUO catch in Japan, to develop an AI system to objectively evaluate the freshness of SHIRAUO and establish a certification system. We also held a press conference with Mr. Shuya Suzuki, Mayor of Namegata city.
